Journey International is a US based non-profit and Ugandan based NGO whose mission is to provide a holistic approach to children suffering with Nodding Syndrome and their families.  The second location was chosen because of its proximity to an abandoned facility used to distribute seizure medications to the neighboring villages.  All those with Nodding Syndrome walk to this location monthly to receive their seizure medications so the well serves a large number of families. Unlike the other wells, this one has an electric pump that pumps safe water into large storage tanks meaning there is quite literally water on tap!
